libsdl-console-dev software package provides Console that can be added to any SDL application, development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsdl-console-dev
libsdl-console-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsdl-console-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsdl-console-dev *
You will get with libsdl-console-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
